“At the heart of every task, we are the problem that needs solving. If we weren’t, we would all be millionaires.”
It’s easy to come up with an excuse. We pin the blame on someone or something, so that we don’t have to bear the shame of failing to follow through.
There’s always a way and there’s always time. Situations may arise that require more attention than others, but its easier to magnify a problem in order to escape the truth.
The only problem standing in our way is ourselves, and funny enough, we are also our own saving grace. Not because we can do something about what ever “it” is, but because we ARE “it” that we have to do something about.
At the heart of every task, we are the problem that needs solving. If we weren’t, we would all be millionaires. All problems are easily solvable, its ourselves that we have to wrap around the solution.
That missing piece to the puzzle, yea…its been us all along. The problem, is also the solution and once you realize that, your thinking about the situation at hand changes, and we all know (or should know) that we can’t fix “the problem” with the same thinking that brought us the problem in the first place.
The big obstruction in the way, is always the answer that helps you find the solution. Instead of trying to go through it, or around it, stare at it until something pops up. Fortunately for most of us, all we have to do is sit in front of the mirror until we begin to believe in ourselves.
